New name but same level of customer service at Inform Products

A Hadleigh-based company approaching its 90^th year in business has announced a name change and rebrand.

Richard Ching & Son has built up an unrivalled reputation as a specialist supplier of labels and nameplates to the engineering and manufacturing industry.

From this month, it will now be known as Inform Products with bosses saying they wanted to better reflect the level of service they offer to customers.

Caroline Gray, managing director, said:
“We started talking about a new name last year as it was felt that Ching didn’t say enough about what we do.

“We wanted a name that told customers all about our services and how we could help them.

“Inform products better represents what we do. Everything we do in some way or another informs, from company names, weights, measures or signposting.”

Caroline said there was very little historical information about Richard Ching and his reasons for starting the company in 1934.

She added:
“We are very proud of our reputation for providing the best levels of customer service and support.

“Our name may have changed but those standards will not. If something is manufactured, it quite possibly has our label on it, from a hospital bed to a hot air balloon.”

Based at Lady Lane Industrial Estate in Hadleigh, the company joined the Denny Bros Group in 2016, which last year became an Employee Owned Trust.
